Tasmota USB TTL WiFi Bridge Konfiguration

Im Eigentlichen bedarf es keinerlei zusätzlichen Konfiguration des USB TTL WiFi Bridge Moduls. Die Tasmota Firmware aktiviert standardmässig

• GPIO1 als TX
• GPIO3 als RX

Mit einfachen Worten, wurde GPIO1 und GPIO3 nicht anderweitig konfiguriert ist die serielle UART Schnittstelle aktiv.

Nachdem die  WLan Konfiguration durchgeführt wurde, kann das USB TTL WiFi Bridge Modul mittels dem integrierten Tasmota Template konfiguriert werden. Das Template aktiviert dabei die 2 verfügbaren GPIO’s des USB TTL WiFi Bridge Moduls. Im Detail werden dabei die GPIO’s des ESP-01 im Tasmota Webinterface Button Einstellungen und dann Button Gerät aktiviert. Die GPIO’s können dann mithilfe des DropDown individuell konfiguriert werden.

Aktivierung des Tasmota Template:

1. klicke auf Einstellungen um das Tasmota Konfigurationsmenü zu öffnen
2. klicke im Tasmota Einstellungssmenü auf Erweitert
3. klicke auf das Kontrollkästchen Aktivieren
4. klick auf den Button Speichern, Tasmota aktiviert das Template und führt einen Neustart durch
5. nach erfolgreichem Neustart sind nun die GPIO’s des USB TTL WiFi Bridge Modul verfügbar
   Zu beachten GPIO1 (TX) und GPIO3 (RX) sind bereits als UART aktiviert und müssen nicht explizit als TX und RX konfiguriert werden.
6. um direkt mit der UART / USB Schnittstelle zu kommunizieren klicke auf Konsole
7. Innerhalb der Tasmota Konsole werden nun sämtliche seriellen Daten ausgegeben, bzw. kann mittels dem Tasmota UART / seriellen Befehlssatz mit der USB / UART Schnittstelle kommuniziert werden

In fact, there is no need for any additional configuration of the USB TTL WiFi Bridge module. The Tasmota firmware activates by default

• GPIO1 as TX
• GPIO3 as RX

In simple words, if GPIO1 and GPIO3 are not configured otherwise, the serial UART interface of the USB TTL WiFi Bridge Module is active.

After the WiFi configuration is finished, the dual USB TTL WiFi Bridge Module can be configured by using integrated Tasmota Template. The template activates the available GPIOs of the USB TTL WiFi Bridge module. In detail, the GPIOs of the ESP-01 are activated in the Tasmota web interface button Settings and then the Module button. The GPIO’s can then be individually configured using the dropdown.

1. click on Configuration
2. in the Tasmota Configuration Menu click on Other
3. click on CheckBox Activate
4. click on Save
5. after a successful restart, the GPIOs of the USB TTL WiFi Bridge Module are now available
   Please note GPIO1 (TX) and GPIO3 (RX) are already activated as UART and do not need to be explicitly configured as TX and RX
6. to communicate directly with the UART / USB interface, click on Console
7. communicate to USB TTL thru Tasmota Console by using Tasmota serial instruction set
